Best courier for Salla stores: how to choose (2026)

Updated 26 Oct 2026. Every figure comes from the provider's own page, the Salla help center or app store, or an email to GCC 3PL, as shown on each provider page. Prices change, so always confirm with the provider.

Short answer: there is no single best courier for every Salla store. It depends on where your customers are, your average order value and how fast you need COD cash back. Seven providers in our dataset either list a Salla integration on their own website or app page, or offer Salla shipping labels. Only three have fixed COD fees we could verify, all via Salla in Saudi Arabia: Barq Fleet, Aramex and SMSA Express.

Salla integration is shown only where the provider's site or Salla's own pages state it. A missing provider doesn't mean it can't work with Salla. Salla shipping-label rates apply only if you buy labels through Salla, not to direct contracts.

2. What the numbers mean for COD orders in KSA

On Salla's published rates, the COD fee for SMSA and Aramex has a fixed part (SAR 8) and a percentage of order value (2% for SMSA, 1% for Aramex). Barq Fleet adds a flat SAR 5. Worked example on a SAR 300 COD order, COD fee only, excl. VAT:

Provider (via Salla)COD fee formulaCOD fee on a SAR 300 order
Barq FleetSAR 5 flatSAR 5.00
AramexSAR 8 + 1%SAR 11.00
SMSA ExpressSAR 8 + 2%SAR 14.00

The COD fee is only part of the cost. Barq Fleet is a same-city service priced by distance, so it fits stores with customers in their own city. SMSA is the only one of the three with a published base fee for national delivery via Salla. Aramex's base fee via Salla is price on request, so a full total is not possible yet.

3. How to choose: checklist

  • Map where your orders go: same city, other Saudi cities, or the UAE
  • Work out the COD fee on your average order value, not on SAR 100
  • Check whether you buy labels through Salla or sign a direct contract, as the rates differ
  • Compare COD payout cycles and how long the cash takes to reach your account
  • Ask for return and failed-delivery prices
  • Check the VAT basis: 15% in KSA, 5% in the UAE
  • Test with a small batch before moving all your volume

Compare all providers in the comparison table or run your own numbers in the cost-per-order calculator. Ship with one of these through Salla? Share your current rates.

Independence: providers don't pay for listings or rankings, and sponsorship never changes them. See our methodology and disclosure.
